School Site Council

School Site Council (SSC) is an advisory group of ten people (consisting of five parents and five school personnel). The SSC is responsible for developing a school improvement plan, establishing the school improvement budget, periodically assessing the school program, and annually reviewing the implementation of the improvement plan. SSC is advisory in nature and a necessary element in
qualifying for and receiving various funding sources. These funding sources include Title I, Title IV, Economic Impact Aide, and School Improvement Program. Parents serve a two-year term.
