The Community Care Coordinator helps to strengthen connections within the school and the surrounding community. The coordinator organizes events, facilitates Community Taskforce and Parent Advisory meetings, and works with students to grow a school environment where everyone has a sense of belonging.

Jenn Soderfelt has been a part of Blue Lake School as a parent since 2013 and has served as a middle school teacher before becoming the Community Care Coordinator. Jenn has a love for the outdoors and sharing her knowledge of science and exploration of the natural world. In her current role, she really enjoys making community connections that support the students at Blue Lake School.
